HRM (Dr) Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso, JP, OON, Abe 1, Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom has appointed renowned educationist, Chief (Mrs) Anastasia Onisuru Agbatutu as executive member of Uvwie Traditional Council of Chiefs.
The appointment was made at an impressive ceremony at the posh palace of the traditional ruler in the GRA Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area on Saturday 15th April 2023.
The Uvwie monarch in his brief speech shortly before the appointment said that Chief (Mrs )Anastasia Onisuru Agbatutu deserved the appointment and that she worked for it.
Abe 1 urged women in the kingdom to emulate the new member of the Uvwie Traditional Council of Chiefs in her selfless service to the kingdom.
Chief ( Mrs ) Agbatutu who bears the title of Elohor of Uvwie Kingdom speaking to newsmen shortly after her appointment expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Uvwie monarch for the honour. She vowed that her new role will spur her to do more for the kingdom and humanity.
