The Uwheru Community Union in the United Kingdom has extended warm congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Ajuwe Simpson Sapele Obruche (ACG), Obruche 11, on the first anniversary of receiving his Staff of Office from the Delta State Government as the monarch of Uwheru Kingdom.
In an interview with U-Metro, the Union’s President, Barr. Sunny Idigbe, praised HRM Simpson Sapele Obruche as a dedicated and patriotic leader committed to the progress of both the Urhobo Nation and Uwheru Kingdom.
“HRM Obruche deserves every accolade,” said Idigbe. “Since ascending the throne, he has tirelessly championed the development of our community. He has been a vocal advocate for peace and unity in the kingdom and has worked relentlessly for its growth. He has approached the State Government to rehabilitate Uwheru Grammar School and Udu Primary School, and has been striving to improve our schools’ staffing and healthcare facilities. His accessibility and wisdom make him a revered leader.”
Idigbe added, “The Uwheru people in the UK congratulate him on this milestone and wish him many more years of a peaceful reign. I also thank the Uwheru community for their continued support and cooperation with our King and urge them to maintain this support as he leads us forward.”
