Political Aides to Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State, has passed a vote of implicit confidence on him.
The confidence vote was passed in an enlarged meeting of the governor’s aides at the Conference Hall of the Political Adviser to the Governor in Warri on Monday, January 17, 2022.
The convener of the meeting and Political Adviser to the Governor, Delta South, Hon Omimi Esquire, had earlier charged the aides to the governor to showcase Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s achievements to the people at the grassroots, to win more members to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
On ongoing projects of the State Government, Hon. Omimi also called for assessment reports from the aides in their various local government areas.
The Political Adviser stressed the need for people at the grassroots to participate in the ongoing voters’ registration exercise.
Those who spoke at the meeting patted Governor Okowa on the back for his laudable achievements so far, prompting the aides to pass the conference vote on him.
Hon Omimi expressed joy over the huge success of the meeting, just as he promised to convey the outcome of the meeting to his boss, Governor Okowa.
He urged Deltans to sustain their support for Governor Okowa and the PDP to continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy.
