Prominent Uwheru Community Leader and Politician, High Chief Daniel Alabi Ajamagrah, the Etekwene of Uwheru Kingdom, who died peacefully on September 6, 2022, at his residence in Ehere Quarters, Uwheru, will be laid to final rest Friday, December 16, 2022. He was aged 96 years.
According to a joint statement by the Ajamagrah Owhode of Ehere Quarter and Orhiomerhe Ekerihi of Erovie Quarter, both in Uwheru Kingdom, Chief Daniel Ajamagrah, a founding elder and leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Uwheru Ward 9, and Ughelli North Local Government Area will be buried after a funeral service at St. Thomas Anglican Church, Uwheru by 10:00 am.
Thereafter, the one-time Chairman of Ughelli North’s PDP Elders and Leaders Forum will be interred at his compound at Enyevwrike Ehere Quarter. At 12 pm, entertainment for guests will hold at Udu Primary School, Uwheru.
On Sunday, December 18, St.Thomas’ Anglican Church, Uwheru, will host the Outing and Thanksgiving Service for the late Uwheru politician at 8: 30 am, while In-Laws of The Ajamagrahs will perform the traditional condolence visit (In-Law greetings) by 12 pm at Chief Ajamagrah’s residence in Ehere Quarter.
