The Secretary to the Delta State Government (SSG), Chief Patrick Ukah, has called on the people of Amachai Community in Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Area, to continue to pray and support the Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, to enable him finish stronger at the end of his tenure.

Chief Ukah stated this when a delegation of members of the community visited him in Okpanam  to felicitate with him on his appointment as SSG

He reminded them of the numerous developmental projects the governor had done in Okpanam, saying the gesture made it necessary for them to support Okowa’s administration to the end.

Ukah urged them to pray to God to give the state a governor in 2023 that would be good to the people of Okpanam like Dr Okowa.

A spokesman for the elders of the community, Mr Peter Ogbechei, and Amachai Youths Chairman, Comrade Emmanuel Agala, said that their visit was to congratulate Chief Ukah on his elevation to the position of the SSG.

The SSG also received members of Okpanam Indigenous Levante Construction Company Workers led by Chinedum Nwanze and Chuks Nwakaji, and some members of St. Mulumba/Okpalani Old Students’ Association, Okpanam, led by the President, Mr Patrick Isichei.

Highpoint of the visits were prayers for the success of the SSG and the Okowa administration.
